Rhoss Adaptive Function Plus® for water chillers and heat pumps, a revolution in reducing energy consumption was a finalist in the hotly-contested 2010 Air Conditioning Product of the Year category at this year’s prestigious RAC Cooling Industry Awards.

Adaptive Function Plus (AF+) is a completely new patented technology developed by Rhoss S.P.A to optimize chiller and heat pump operation and reduce power consumption without the introduction of more expensive components.

As a result of advanced predictive logic, savings of up to 36% are
achievable compared to traditional electronic control, at no extra cost!

By monitoring the building load the AF+ floats the set point up or
down while ensuring that comfort, whether heating or cooling, is still maintained whilst making significant energy savings. 

Advanced design = ESEER up to 5.06!

To demonstrate precise savings Rhoss have developed ESEER+ a new
part load ratio. Using this unique formulae we can calculate the massive savings which can be made available with the application of Adaptive Function Plus.

AF+ manages the compressors so well that only 2 litres of water per kW
is required, substantially less than a traditional chiller or heat pump, providing the added benefit of a reduction in water system volume.

Adaptive Function Plus is fitted as standard on all Rhoss air cooled R410a scroll chillers and heat pumps from 5kW to 315kW capacity
