Free Cooling Chiller
TFAEY – TGAEY 4160:4320 Free Cooling Chiller range.
A series of seven chillers, with nominal cooling capacities from 180kW to 350kW, R410A refrigerant, scroll compressors and patented Adaptive Function Plus control, this is the first in a new range of Free Cooling Chillers to be developed by Rhoss.
These chillers employ the conventional method of free cooling which automatically comes into effect when the ambient temperature falls 1ºC below the return water temperature. At this point partial or full capacity free cooling will take place.
A unique feature on the Rhoss Free Cooling Chiller is the integration of their patented Adaptive Function Plus predictive control logic which optimises the chiller operation and therefore running costs on the basis of system and thermal load dynamics.
Another feature of Adaptive Function Plus is the so called “Virtual Tank Function” which means that the chiller can operate perfectly satisfactorily with just 2litres of water in the system per kW of cooling capacity.
The TGAEY series offers users who are unable to circulate a glycol solution through their cooling or air conditioning circuits, the opportunity to employ a free cooling chiller. In this series, an intermediate heat exchanger circuit interfaces with the cooling or secondary circuit and the chiller or primary circuit. Glycol is only required in the primary circuit.
