Coolmation launches predictive adaptive function plus
Rhoss spa, represented exclusively in the UK by the Coolmation Group, has launched its new innovative predictive control system, Adaptive Function Plus (AFP) and is now integrating it as the standard control system in its range of multi scroll compressor chillers and heat pumps. By using a patented predictive control the AFP system matches multi scroll compressor operation to actual working conditions, thus reducing chiller/heat pump energy consumption by as much as 36% in winter mode and 18% in summer mode. Rhoss open a new R&D, testing and training centre
Leading European chiller manufacturer, Rhoss Spa, has completed and commissioned a new 1000m² R&D Laboratory at a cost in excess of 1.5million euros. The new facility is one of only two in Europe with the capability to performance test water chillers at their full capacity up to 1500kW. In the last few weeks, it has been officially certified by Eurovent and due to its unique features, Eurovent has agreed that certification tests can be conducted within it. Read more...
CIBSE members attend REHVA visit to Italian chiller manufacturer RHOSS Spa
Federation of European HVAC associations (REHVA) member, Italian chiller manufacture Rhoss Spa, and its UK distributor Coolmation, recently hosted a REHVA visit to Rhoss' factory in North East Italy. Attended by a number of key UK-based CIBSE members, the event comprised a programme of presentations on current European legislation and revealed the latest developments in energy efficient chillers and air conditioning.
