Space Cooling
You know that heat overload may harm your employee’s health and damage your business ……… !
Statistics show that productivity falls by 10% when temperatures in the working environment exceed 24ºC and that a worker is 23% more likely to have an accident.
But still think that air conditioning your workspace will be too expensive?
Ambient temperatures can be reduced by up to 10ºC, and work spaces transformed into cool comfortable fume free environments by installing our simple and safe low cost adiabatic air conditioning systems.
Major benefits of adiabatic work space cooling systems
- Their cost is up to 75% less than a conventional installed air conditioning system and operating costs up to 90% less.
- Cooling capacity increases as the outdoor temperature rises. The effectiveness of conventional systems reduces.
- They are safe.
- Unique design and construction in non corrosive materials.
- Only require connection to mains water and to a single phase electrical supply
- Can be installed singly as spot coolers to treat a hot spot, or as a series of modules to cool a larger space.
- Normal productivity levels can be maintained even at the height of summer.
Adiabatic cooling systems are perfect for comfort cooling in manufacturing areas operating
- Plastic moulding and extrusion plant
- Printing machinery
- Textile equipment
- Furnaces
- Glass processing plant
- Die casting machinery
- Machining centres
- Metal treatment equipment
- Food production and preparation plant
- Warehouses or other densely populated non air conditioned areas.
How does adiabatic cooling work?
Quite simply, a stream of hot air is moved across a wetted surface. Water is evaporated as it absorbs heat from the air, causing a reduction in air temperature.
Adapting natures way of cooling proves beneficial in other ways too
- 100% fresh, cooled and filtered air can be introduced into the workplace.
- Conventional air conditioning systems for the sake of economy generally circulate much of the same stale air and require doors and windows to stay shut
- With adiabatic cooling windows can stay open since the system works by displacing the warm air with cool fresh air.
- As warm air is moved out, so too are fumes and odours and particles in suspension.
