This range of chillers has been specifically designed for the chiller replacement market, where space is always at a premium because the space taken by the original chiller is rarely sufficient to accommodate a new higher capacity one.
The TCAEY Space Saver series is available in standard, silenced and super silenced versions and as reversible heat pumps.
Features
- R410 refrigerant - up to 8% more efficient than R407C
- Revolutionary Adaptive Function Plus (AFP) Control - greatly reduces seasonal energy consumption and maintains high levels of temperature stability.
- Greatly reduced footprint - the largest is now just 6m² compared with its 10m² predecessor
- Scroll compressors - four in each chiller, the latest generation and specifically developed for R410A refrigerant.
- Stainless steel plate evaporators - designed and constructed in such a way that the water and refrigerant passes are always counter flow and pressure drops are minimised. Both features increase the efficiency of evaporation and pro rata, the energy consumption.
- Special condenser fin formation and tube geometry – creates considerably better heat transfer and a reduction in the air pressure drop over the coil, reducing fan motor size and the energy consumed.
- Electronic expansion valves - achieve precise control of refrigerant mass flow and as the pressure drop across this valve is significantly less than a mechanical one, the system can operate at lower condensing pressures and significant reductions in compressor power input are achieved.
- A full range of factory fitted accessories – including water circulating pumps and buffer tanks.
- Guaranteed performance - the performance of this range is verifiable by Eurovent approval and testing carried out in Rhoss’s own Eurovent certified laboratory.
